Aidan Petrie

In his role as Co-founder and Chief Innovation Officer for Ximedica, Aidan drives innovation in their core markets of medical device development & consumer healthcare. Ximedica provides complete research, product development, regulatory and manufacturing services to leading medical device and healthcare companies and is unique amongst its peers in that it is IS0 certified and FDA registered. Aidan has had articles published on innovation and design process for the Design Management Institute (DMI). He teaches a Graduate ID program at Rhode Island School of Design on Design Leadership and is on the Commercial Advisory Board of MassArt. Aidan also sits on the Executive Board of Save the Bay, Rhode Island’s largest environmental group. Aidan received his degree from Central St. Martins (UK) in Product Design/Engineering and Masters in Industrial Design from RISD. He has over 70 patents and multiple Design Awards.
