Khipra Nichols

Khipra Nichols is an Associate Professor, and Director of the Industrial Design Masters Program at the Rhode Island School of Design. He received his BID from RISD in 1978, and before joining the faculty full-time in 1998 Khipra was Design Director at Hasbro Toy. During his 20-year career at Hasbro, Khipra was awarded 16 U.S. patents in infant, toy, and juvenile product design, as well as several in-house awards for innovation in design. Over 250 of his designs have entered the marketplace. In addition to teaching at RISD, Khipra is a design consultant and researcher who leads interdisciplinary development teams to create new human centered products.
